Equifax is seeking a Hearing Representative to represent employer clients during unemployment compensation hearings. This full-time position requires a minimum of 2 years of unemployment or administrative hearings experience and the ability to learn state regulations and departmental procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and may have a legal background or experience with G Suite. This role can be located in multiple cities including St. Louis, Des Moines, Louisville, Houston, and Rochester. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employer clients during unemployment compensation hearings - Analyze individual case information and prepare client witnesses for hearings - Stay up to date and knowledgeable about state-specific laws and statutes regarding UI benefits - Document all communication with client witnesses - Attend local unemployment hearings as needed
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of unemployment or administrative hearings experience - Ability to represent clients in hearings via phone or in person - Familiarity with state regulations and departmental procedures - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Legal background or experience with G Suite - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
