Equifax, a global data, analytics, and technology company, is seeking a Hearing Representative to join their team and provide representation for employer clients during unemployment compensation hearings. This full-time position is available in various locations including St. Louis, Missouri; Des Moines, Iowa; Louisville, Kentucky; Houston, Texas; Rochester, New York; and Columbus, Ohio.
As a Hearing Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service is provided to clients and advocating on their behalf during unemployment hearings. You will be responsible for analyzing individual case information, preparing clients and their witnesses for hearings, and staying up to date on state-specific laws and statutes regarding UI benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze individual case information and review data accessed through the PC, document images, and client witness discussions - Prepare clients and their witnesses for unemployment hearings and advocate on their behalf - Document all communication with client witnesses
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of unemployment or administrative hearings experience - Ability to represent clients in unemployment hearings via phone and/or attend local hearings as needed - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Attorney or J.D., legal education, or paralegal certification - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines - Experience with G Suite
