Equifax is seeking a skilled and experienced Unemployment Hearing Representative to join their team in various locations across the country. In this role, the Hearing Representative will be responsible for representing employer clients during unemployment compensation hearings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in unemployment or administrative hearings and possess excellent communication skills. They will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while remaining knowledgeable about state-specific laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employer clients in unemployment compensation hearings - Analyze individual case information and prepare strategies for hearings - Prepare client witnesses for hearing proceedings - Document all communication with client witnesses
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of unemployment or administrative hearings experience - Ability to represent clients in hearings via phone or in person - Knowledge of state regulations and internal systems - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Attorney or J.D., legal education or paralegal certification - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Experience with G Suite
