Law Firm Seeking Experienced Trusts and Estates Administrative Paralegal in NJ and CT
Responsibilities: - Manage and produce high volume of complex work related to domestic estate and trust administration - Work independently and collaborate with attorneys throughout the process - Utilize strong mathematical, organizational, and technological skills - Mentor and be mentored in a team environment - Interact with clients in a compassionate manner - Prepare probate and accounting documents - Create accountings for estates and trusts - Prepare death tax returns - Review and interpret wills and trust agreements - Conduct basic research using reference materials - Familiarity with court and regulatory procedures - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF software, and document management software - Experience with tax preparation and accounting software - Willingness to learn and utilize advanced software and technology
Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree and paralegal certification (or equivalent) - Previous experience in trusts and estates and as a paralegal - Understanding of basic business relationships and client confidentiality principles
Full-time position with salary range of $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year.
