Bressler, Amery & Ross, a national law firm with a strong presence in New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join our team in Florham Park. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule, providing the opportunity for both onsite and remote work. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare estate and gift tax returns, including federal and state forms - Assist with probate and administration of estates in New York and New Jersey - Manage estate administration tasks such as asset collection, valuation, and distribution - Prepare trust accountings, inventories, and fiduciary income tax filings - Work closely with attorneys, clients, and financial institutions for estate and trust administration - Organize and maintain estate planning documents
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate and gift tax return preparation - Strong knowledge of New Jersey and New York probate procedures - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment - Experience with estate and tax software is a plus - Minimum of a 4-year college degree and/or paralegal certification
