Trial Attorney – Construction Litigation, Commercial Litigation and First-Party Property

Position Details:

Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and analyze construction agreements - Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery - Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and state and federal court trials - Manage cases and meet client expectations effectively - Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial - Build trusting relationships with clients - Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school - Admission with the Florida Bar - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively - 5 years of trial experience and complex business litigation - Strong knowledge of construction, lien, insurance, and surety law preferred - Demonstrated knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
