Summary:
The Wilson Elser law firm in Orange County, California is seeking a Transportation Associate with at least 2 years of defense litigation experience. This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $190,000 USD. The ideal candidate will have a JD from an ABA accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the state of California. Experience in transportation, motor vehicle accidents, and trucking matters is preferred, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents - Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations - Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices - Independently manage a litigation caseload as part of a team - Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school - Admitted to practice in the state of California - 2 years of defense litigation experience - Experience in transportation, motor vehicle accidents, and trucking matters preferred - Strong analytical and communication skills
Pay Range: $125,000 - $190,000 USD
