Transactional Real Estate Associate (Baltimore) - Join a Leading Law Firm with Competitive Salary
Overview:
- Whiteford's Baltimore and Richmond offices are seeking a Transactional Real Estate Associate with 3-5 years of experience - The candidate will handle drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various real estate contracts and documents - Experience advising clients on real estate matters such as due diligence, zoning, environmental, financing, and tax issues is required - This is a full-time, in-office position with a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 based on experience - The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and documents including purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, title opinions, financing agreements, and closing statements - Advise clients on real estate matters, such as due diligence, zoning, environmental, financing, and tax issues - Conduct legal research and provide recommendations to clients - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in real estate transactions - Assist with real estate closings and other related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in transactional real estate law - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - Bar admission in the state of Maryland or Virginia - Experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate contracts and documents - Strong understanding of real estate law and regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of work - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 based on experience - Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
