Responsibilities and Duties: - Taking and defending expert and witness depositions - Drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters - Drafting discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties - Developing client relationships through oral and written communication - Preparation for trial including motions in limine, exhibit lists, witness lists
Required Qualifications: - At least 2 years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience - Juris Doctor degree from a top law school - Licensed in California - Self-motivated individual with high energy and a strong work ethic - Experience in a billable work environment - Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
Experience in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence, is preferred.
