Job Title: Torts Paralegal at Prestigious Law Firm in River Edge

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit tort notices for cases in NY, NJ, and PA - Correspond with senior attorneys and executives - Obtain and verify case details from Prelitigation Case Managers (Prelit CMs) - Track submissions and ensure timely delivery within statutory deadlines - Draft and oversee the distribution of cut letters - Ensure clients receive the letters and address any inquiries - Handle undelivered letters by initiating resends and conducting necessary searches - Review cases to identify potential public entity liabilities - Assess legal limitations that may impact settlement negotiations
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal experience required - Experience in claims processing, legal document preparation, or compliance - Strong understanding of legal statutes and deadlines in NY, NJ, and PA - Excellent attention to detail and ability to track legal documentation efficiently - Strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary: $75,000—$85,000 USD
