Law Firm Seeking Title Processor with Experience in Real Estate Closings
Job Summary: The Law Firm is currently seeking a Title Processor with experience in Real Estate closings to join our team at our corporate office in Goose Creek, SC. This is a full-time position and not a remote position.
General Accountabilities: As a Title Processor, you will be responsible for reviewing title work and preparing title binders/commitments for Real Estate closings. You will ensure that the title on properties is valid by examining all documentation, including mortgages, liens, contracts, etc. You will also conduct research on all title evidence required and obtain descriptions of properties and names of involved parties. Additionally, you will prepare reports on any title obstructions and consult with pre-closers regarding title-related information. Furthermore, you will enter data in SoftPro Select to create title binder/commitment and other documents required by the lender. Please note that the company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Experience: • Title examiner: 1 year (Preferred)
Salary: $30,000.00 to $35,000.00 /year
Responsibilities: • Review title work and prepare title binders/commitments for Real Estate closings • Ensure that the title on properties is valid • Examine all documentation, including mortgages, liens, contracts, etc. • Conduct research on all title evidence required • Obtain descriptions of properties and names of involved parties • Examine individual titles to determine if any restrictions apply • Prepare reports that describe any title obstructions • Consult with pre-closer regarding title-related information • Enter data in SoftPro Select to create title binder/commitment and other documents required by lender • The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • 1 years of experience as a title examiner preferred • Strong knowledge of title work and Real Estate closings • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Service-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Active listening skills and ability to problem solve • Experience with SoftPro Select preferred
