Law Firm Seeking Experienced Title Processor in Corporate GC Office in Goose Creek, SC - Full Time
Overview: Join our team at a well-respected law firm as a Title Processor in our Corporate GC Office located in Goose Creek, SC. In this full-time position, you will review title work and prepare title binders/commitments for real estate closings. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and experience in title processing and examination.
Responsibilities: • Review title work and prepare title binders/commitments for real estate closings • Ensure validity of property titles • Examine all documentation, such as mortgages, liens, and contracts, to verify ownership and restrictions • Research title evidence as required • Obtain property descriptions and names of involved parties • Determine if any restrictions apply to individual titles • Prepare reports on any title obstructions • Consult with pre-closer on title-related information • Enter data in SoftPro Select to create title binder/commitment and other required documents for lenders • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the company
Requirements: • 1 year of experience as a title examiner or in title processing • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong service orientation • Effective time management skills • Active listening ability • Problem-solving skills • Experience with SoftPro Select preferred
