Responsibilities:
Examine title reports for mortgage foreclosure transactions Identify necessary Defendants for judicial mortgage foreclosure action Identify parties required to receive notice of a non-judicial foreclosure action Identify superior interests, title defects, and title curative issues Utilize online search portals for in-house tax and title searches Plot metes and bounds legal descriptions using online tools Obtain aerial views of subject property using online websites
Qualifications:
Required:
3-5 years of title examination experience, preferably in mortgage foreclosure arena Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and efficiency Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Experience using PDF applications, such as Adobe Acrobat and eCopy, to markup title reports Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Experience with paperless title examinations
Preferred:
Multi-state examination experience, specifically in CA, DE, GA, KY, IL, MD, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, and VA Familiarity with SoftPro Select Understanding of legal descriptions and ability to plot metes and bounds descriptions Experience using online tax search portals

As a Title Examiner, you will be responsible for examining title reports provided by third party search vendors for mortgage foreclosure transactions. You will also identify necessary Defendants for judicial mortgage foreclosure actions and parties required to receive notice of non-judicial foreclosure actions. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying superior interests, title defects, and title curative issues.
