We know that we deliver impact to our region because we measure everything that we do. We offer 16 programs to at-risk children and families. We are seeking an effective leader to fill an immediate need for a Therapist of our Homebuilders® Program.
Homebuilders® is a research based model designed to assist families in a time of crisis. They are at imminent risk of having one or more of their children removed or not returned to them because of a serious issue within the family system. The Therapist provides Intensive Family Preservation Services using the Homebuilders® model, including crisis intervention, counseling, skill building, concrete services, and advocacy. Serve two to three families at a time whose children are at imminent risk of out-of-home placement, or who are in placement and cannot be reunified without intensive in-home services. Provide services primarily in client homes. Be available to respond to client crises when they occur.
This position requires a Graduate Degree in Human Services or related field or undergraduate degree and 2 years supervisory experience working with children and families. A very flexible schedule, valid driver’s license and vehicle are mandatory. Must be 21 years of age or older and required to apply for Act 33/34 clearances (criminal and child abuse) as well as FBI clearance. Pre-employment drug screening and random employment drug testing required.
