Law Firm Seeking Experienced Technology Lawyer/Senior Commercial Lawyer in Various UK Locations

Job Description:
- Providing commercial contracting support to the firm in relation to strategic commercial activities and projects - Assisting with the design, development, and negotiation of client agreements and commercial schedules for complex deals led by Practice Groups and/or Advanced Delivery Teams - Drafting standard agreements and templates for new client-facing products, offerings, and solutions - Drafting specific provisions for inclusion in standard letters of engagement and end user license agreements for use with third-party technologies - Supporting on contracts with third-party partners, service and solutions providers, and other law firms or legal service providers - Providing support for non-standard commercial contracts related to adjacent professional services and solutions - Developing risk management plans for complex deals and proposals to increase liability or amend standard terms - Producing guidance and training for practice groups and colleagues on legal developments that may impact the firm's services - Taking ownership of specific projects requiring commercial legal support - Identifying and communicating legal developments and ensuring they are reflected in the firm's contracting position - Monitoring compliance with risk policies for existing adjacent professional services and solutions - Logging commercial contracts in relevant portals for reporting purposes - Applying a pragmatic, commercial, and risk management approach to all contract work - Collaborating with the Deputy General Counsel - Risk & Regulatory to input into relevant risk policies - Providing Subject Matter Expert support for ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with 7 years' post-qualification experience - Significant experience reviewing commercial client agreements - Experience dealing with technology and AI related contracts, including intellectual property rights, data protection, confidentiality, and information security - Experience with licensing, software as a service, platform as a service, managed services, agency arrangements, subcontracting, and white labeling
