What your day-to-day will look like:
Deliver full-cycle recruitment services across the Tech Team
Build and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates to fill technical vacancies
Ensure recruitment requirements are captured, prioritized and delivered on time and within budget
Drive innovative and creative talent strategies, identifying non-traditional and diverse talent pools while building a strong pipeline
Conduct pre-screening phone interviews and onsite interviews
Schedule and coordinate onsite interviews and hiring events
Research, plan and attend industry and FreshBooks recruitment events
Build relationships with universities and other educational institutions and attend job fairs or offsite recruitment events as required
Drive delivery of a “best in class” candidate experience
Plan and participate in projects that enhance the employee value proposition and external brand
Work with the People & Culture team on initiatives to help maintain and improve on the amazing productive (and fun!) culture we’ve built
You will thrive if you are:
An experienced recruiter with a minimum of 3 years of Agency and/or internal corporate recruitment experience
Experienced in the Software Development and Tech/data industry
Experienced in international recruitment
Experienced in recruiting for Engineering roles
Fluent in English
Theoretical knowledge of software tools, languages and software development
Expertise in end to end recruitment activities and service delivery across the organization (hiring requirements, reporting, sourcing, assessment, onboarding etc.)
Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems - preferably Greenhouse ATS
Familiar with direct sourcing experience through Social Media Platforms such as LinkedIn
Able to navigate ambiguity and change, while setting priorities and delivering on commitments against a defined strategy
Friendly and professional. Candidates feel at ease speaking with you
Able to manage multiple stakeholders for each role. At FreshBooks we hire as a team!
Knowledgable with compensation and working with commission and equity structures
A creative problem solver with a strong work ethic
Able to self-manage but also work well with the rest of the team
Able to prioritize multiple requests with high attention to detail
Passionate about creating an amazing candidate experience
Able to utilize a data-driven approach, from candidate pipeline analysis and using the insights to derive messaging and engagement targets to guarantee a successful search
