Technical Advisor The candidate will be assisting patent attorneys in writing patent applications on new technologies, responding to arguments from The US Patent and Trademark Office relating to whether the technology sought to be patented is new and non-obvious over already known public domain technologies, and determining whether an invention is new and non-obvious by conducting searches of public domain technologies. Should be a Ph.D. student or graduate for full-time or part-time employment in the areas of computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, control engineering, or physics to assist in procuring patents. Must be an excellent writer. A broad understanding of electrical, computer, and/or optics scientific concepts is needed.
