Reputed Firm Seeking Teaching Associate Professor for Legal Writing Department in College of Law - Competitive Salary of 25200
Overview:
- Seeking a full-time, nine-month faculty member for WVU College of Law's Legal Writing Program in the 2025-2026 academic year - Non-tenure-track position with opportunity for promotion - Faculty will primarily teach first-year Legal Analysis, Reasoning, and Writing course, with potential for additional courses in appellate advocacy, judicial writing, or judicial externship - WVU Law is recognized as one of the nation's top public law schools with a strong focus on service and practical training - Located in Morgantown, a top small city and easily accessible to major cities like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Washington, DC
Qualifications:
- Must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic record - Experience in litigation, appellate litigation, and/or as a judicial law clerk preferred - Passion for teaching and commitment to service in the law school and community - Scholarship is encouraged and supported but not required
