Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to industry-specific clients, ranging from middle market to multinational companies - Participate in tax research projects and draft responses for IRS inquiries - Team with leaders on special projects related to corporate and flow-through taxation - Develop recommendations for clients and strategize with leadership - Collaborate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters - Receive on-the-job coaching and mentoring, as well as participate in firm-wide learning and development programs - Utilize entrepreneurial skills to build strong relationships with clients - Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy - Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with social activities and team outings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or related business field - CPA or JD license preferred - 2 years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting in a public accounting firm - Strong skills in time management, communication, relationship building, and problem solving - Leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
