As a Tax Manager for the Business Tax Services team, you will have the opportunity to provide tailored tax compliance and consulting services to some of EY's most prestigious clients.
As a member of the Private Tax group within the National Tax Department, you will be part of a growing practice that focuses on serving privately held companies and their owners and families. With a diverse portfolio of interesting and challenging work, you will have the chance to make an impact on some of the most technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects around. You will also have the opportunity to work with a global team, acting as a key point of contact for a wide range of clients and colleagues.
In this role, you will be responsible for researching tax issues, developing effective tax planning strategies, and communicating complex tax issues to clients and non-tax professionals. You will also have the opportunity to manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals, while identifying and reacting to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes. To qualify for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, supported by significant tax, business, or financial planning experience, as well as a CPA certification or membership in The Bar. A thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning, as well as experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation, is also required.
