Responsibilities:
- Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry specific clients - Act as a trusted business advisor and lead client relationships - Consult on technical matters and special projects in various areas of taxation - Research tax matters and make recommendations to clients - Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure profitability targets are met - Network and build relationships to acquire new clients and revenue - Invest in professional development and support the growth of team members - Encourage work-life balance through social activities and team outings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or similar degree in business - CPA, JD or EA required - 8 years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting services - 5 years of supervisory experience - Strong management, analytical, and communication skills - Ability to lead, provide exceptional client service, and stay current with strategies and ethics - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other software - Eligibility to work in the U.S. preferred - Ability to travel to client sites and occasionally overnight
