The primary responsibility of the Supervisor – Corporate Accounting is to assist in global and domestic finance/accounting related special projects. This role will also support Corporate Accounting’s financial reporting process, technical accounting research, and governance of global accounting policies. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***’s policies, practices, and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Assists with global and domestic finance/accounting related projects. *Performs technical accounting research and drafts memos to support accounting positions. *Coordinates Corporate Accounting department activities with our global counterparts as well as with other departments within the organization. *Assists with the monthly corporate consolidation and financial closing process. *Provides accurate, timely and usable reports to department heads and management team. *Assists with the governance and maintenance of the existing Accounting Manual that covers our most prevalent transactions, including chart of account definitions, account reconciliations, etc. *Assists with all functions of LVSC’s external financial reporting process when needed (SEC filings, XBRL, press releases, statutory financial statements, Audit Committee materials, etc.). *Coordinates and contributes to the review of complex contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment. *Ensures proper preparation and review of all responses to information document requests from external auditors. *Advises management of problem areas and requests assistance as necessary. *Identifies potential problems, recommends sound solutions and supports implementation. *Supports departmental and company decisions, even if unpopular. *Provides input into and executes strategic plan for Corporate Accounting consistent with the strategic vision of LVSC. *Safety is an essential function of this job. *Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job *Performs other related duties as assigned.

*21 years of age. *Proof of authorization to work in the United States *Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred *4-8 years finance/accounting experience; with minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in large public accounting firm *Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. *Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
