Summer Law Clerk Internship at API Legal Outreach
- 10-week summer internship program for law students and recent graduates - Paid stipend of $150/week for 40 hours of work per week - Open to all applicants regardless of age, disability, gender, race, etc. - Located in San Francisco, CA with both in-office and hybrid work options - Reports to Supervising Attorney and works with a multicultural team - Focus on providing legal services to marginalized communities including low-income women, seniors, immigrants, and youth - Practice areas include Housing, Immigration, Anti-Human Trafficking, Elder Law, Domestic Violence/Family Law, and Anti-API Hate - Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting with client intake, and attending court hearings and meetings - Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an accredited law school - Bilingual and bicultural skills preferred, especially in API languages or Spanish - Experience or passion for advocating for underserved communities - Equal Employment Opportunity employer - Apply by sending a cover letter, resume, and three professional references with subject line "Summer Law Clerk" and addressing specific questions in cover letter - Application deadline: Open until filled
