This program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable real-life experience in a variety of legal projects, while also providing a glimpse into the daily life at our firm.
At Andersen, Tate & Carr, we believe in providing our Summer Associates with a well-rounded experience. This includes exposure to all practice areas of the firm, as well as the opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest. Our goal is to help Summer Associates identify their career interests and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen field.
As a Summer Associate, you will have the chance to work on actual cases for our clients, including drafting briefs, motions, and pleadings. You will also have the opportunity to attend depositions, hearings, and trials, providing you with firsthand experience in the courtroom. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on complex business and real estate transactions, attend closings and negotiation sessions, and join off-site client meetings and site inspections.
To ensure a successful and fulfilling experience, each Summer Associate is assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the program. We also offer an active social calendar, including events like Atlanta Braves and Atlanta United games, concerts, whitewater rafting, and firm parties. Our goal is to provide a well-balanced experience that combines meaningful work with some fun on the side.
