Camuto Group has an excellent opportunity for a Finance Intern. This is a paid internship in a hybrid working environment with our finance team. We are looking for a student who can contribute approximately 35 hours a week. Camuto Group offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations as well as learning sessions with Senior Leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*An interest in managing data for the team to analyze *Assist in preparation of weekly P&L projections and other financial reporting *Detailed projections will include:
*All components of Gross Profit including Cost of Goods Sold and Sales Returns and Allowances *Validate expenses by account and cost center *Develop analytical skills to identify potential risks to the current Budget/Projection timely so that corrective action can be taken *Assist in development of Annual Budget and Long-Range Financial models *Support capital approval process as needed *Perform ad hoc analysis as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to interact with sales, production, logistics and credit teams while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient and be customer service driven. Professionalism and attention to detail required. *Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint *Working knowledge of Hyperion/Oracle a plus *Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
