Summer 2022 Store Operations & Communications Intern
Sales Support and Operations is the connection between the home office and the field (stores) organization. This team supports the field with resources and innovative solutions that enable great customer experiences and drive results.
DSW has a Sales Support and Operations opportunity available for summer 2022, focused on field communication. This Sales Support and Operations intern will gain a holistic understanding of field operations, merchandising, and communication, with specific hands-on experience in the communications function. This includes contributing to weekly written communication, managing the field support email inbox, experience in engagement and incentive initiatives, and potential conference planning.
At the end of the program, the intern will have a better understanding of the full Sales Support and Operations function within DSW.
Qualifications:
*Experience in customer service industry; retail or food service preferred *Strong communication, organization, analytical skills, and attention to detail *Passion for effective communication and utilizing various tools to deliver messaging *Self-starter, good time management, creative, with ability to communicate in a professional manner *Internships will begin Summer 2022 (mid to late May) and last 12 weeks *All interns are full-time, paid positions *All interns must be able to pay for their own housing and transportation while in Columbus *Only the candidates who meet the internship requirements will be contacted for interviews *All interns will be required to complete a project at the end of the internship program
