The successful candidate will have a J.D. degree and several years of litigation experience, as well as a demonstrated commitment to voting rights, racial justice, and other civil liberties issues. They will be responsible for participating in litigation, analyzing legislation, developing new cases and advocacy projects, and providing technical assistance and advice to other attorneys and organizations. They will also collaborate with staff across the organization to advance voting rights and engage in public speaking and education.

SALARY INFORMATION: The ACLU offers a competitive salary scale for attorneys based on years of experience and location. Salaries for this position range from $89,250 to $203,553, with adjustments for cost of living in different cities.

EXPERIENCE INFORMATION: The successful candidate will have a J.D. degree and several years of litigation experience, including clerkships and fellowships. They will also have a demonstrated commitment to voting rights, racial justice, and other civil liberties issues.
