Community Legal Services (CLS) is a non-profit organization that provides legal assistance, advice, and representation to individuals in need. They are currently seeking a Staff Attorney for their Mohave and La Paz Counties Office in Kingman, AZ. The qualified candidate must demonstrate CLS's core values of collaboration, excellence, respect, and humanity, as well as a commitment to economic and racial justice for clients and the community.
Qualifications: - Must be a member of the Arizona State Bar or eligible for admission upon hire - Preferred candidates will have 2-5 years of legal experience - Strong preference for candidates with experience in legal services and/or a commitment to providing high-quality legal assistance and strategic advocacy for low-income individuals
Duties: - Handle litigation in state and federal courts, as well as administrative hearings - Conduct strategic advocacy on behalf of clients, including impact affirmative litigation and community outreach - Other duties as assigned
