Position: Staff Attorney in Holland office - Grant-funded position focused on eviction defense - Expected to be funded through December 2024
Responsibilities: - Conduct intake appointments with clients seeking legal help for housing-related issues - Manage a litigation caseload focused on eviction defense and housing law - Successfully manage multiple tasks - Build collaborative relationships within the community
Qualifications: - Licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible to be admitted by waiver or able to take the next Michigan bar exam - Experience in housing law - Demonstrated commitment to providing access to justice for low-income individuals and households - Excellent written and oral communication skills
