NARF is currently seeking a qualified Staff Attorney for their Alaska Office. This position offers the opportunity to work with a nationally recognized non-profit law firm that focuses on Indian law matters of major significance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in federal Indian law, experience working with Alaska Native communities and cultures, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney.

Qualifications: - JD degree from an ABA-accredited school of law - Admission to a state bar - Experience and knowledge in federal Indian law - Experience with and knowledge of Alaska Native communities and cultures - Experience with federal and/or state court litigation - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney - Exceptional applicants with fewer years of experience will be considered - Experience in working in coalitions, natural resources law, subsistence law, or voting rights law is a plus - American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians are encouraged to apply - Must be licensed to practice in Alaska or able to secure admission to the state bar
Salary & Benefits: - Salary range of $174,616 to $274,276 annually - Based on 5 to 24 years of experience in the Denver Metro market - Actual salary will depend on years of experience and NARF office locality - Generous benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and contributions to employee 401K plan - Employer paid group life insurance, accident insurance, and short-term and long-term disability insurance
