Key Responsibilities:
- Provides legal advice and representation to the Division of School and Community Nutrition for all programs administered by the Division. - Conducts research and provides legal advice regarding the Kentucky Open Records Act and Kentucky Open Meetings Act. - Provides legal advice to the agency regarding allegations of violation of 703 KAR 5:080 and 703 KAR 5:070. - Conducts, reviews, researches, negotiates and provides legal advice to the agency regarding routine contracts. - Conducts research and provides responses on behalf of the agency to constituent inquiries pursuant to KRS 156.240. - Handles various phases of litigation with immediate supervision. - Performs other duties as assigned.
