Job Description
Develop annual expense budget for various cost centers within the business. Collaborate with business partners to update monthly expense projections and provide variance explanations to budget and LY. Also responsible for weekly/monthly reporting and store analytics. Reports to Sr. Manager, Store Finance. No direct reports.
MUST POSSESS THE ABILITY TO:
*Produce store reporting & analytics relating to selling metrics, inventory and store fulfillment *Provide weekly financial and productivity reporting for the contact center *Develop effective and collaborative relationships with functional business partners *Update projection models and effectively communicate outcomes and influence actionable insights *Prepare and communicate monthly Accountability Reports to leadership *Provide financial support and analysis to key business leaders on an ad-hoc basis
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Lives the DSW Values of passion, accountability, collaboration, and humility *Minimum 4-6 years of experience; retail experience preferred but not required *Takes initiative and is curious, driven, flexible/adaptable *Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment *Excellent excel/financial modeling skill is required with at least a basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Word *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills *Undergraduate (B.S./B.A.) degree in Finance or Accounting is required
