Your Career
- We are seeking a self-starter and solution-focused team player to join our team as the Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel - Privacy. - In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage a world-class team of privacy attorneys. - You will work on critical privacy, security, and AIML initiatives and be the legal partner for various teams. - Your experience and knowledge in translating complex legal issues into practical solutions will be crucial in mitigating legal risks.
Your Impact
- Conduct AIML and data impact assessments and other security assessments on new products and enhancements. - Work closely with functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy and data security laws and industry best practices. - Facilitate negotiation of privacy and security requirements with customers, partners, and suppliers. - Improve efficiency and mitigate risks through privacy and security related projects. - Support privacy compliance efforts and address privacy audits. - Partner with Information Security and IT teams to develop policies and standards. - Apply privacy by design principles and develop privacy collateral for customers and partners. - Provide legal advice on privacy and data protection matters. - Manage outside counsel on privacy matters. - Handle special projects as requested.
Your Experience
- J.D. degree from ABA accredited law school or equivalent military experience. - Member in good standing of an applicable state bar. - 10 years of experience in implementing privacy focused projects. - In-house experience at an enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity company. - Knowledge of legal issues impacting the cybersecurity and privacy industry. - Experience negotiating data privacy and SaaS agreements. - Familiarity with privacy and compliance issues, regulations, and industry standards. - Experience reviewing products, features, and initiatives for privacy considerations.

Compensation Disclosure
- Compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. - Starting base salary expected to be between $257,000 - $353,000/year. - Offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. - Employee benefits include a wellbeing spending account, mental and financial health resources, and personalized learning opportunities.
