CLF, a leading environmental advocacy organization, is seeking law students or recent graduates to join their team as a Spring Legal Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in environmental progress while gaining valuable legal experience.
As a Legal Intern, you will be paired with an experienced attorney in one of CLF's seven program areas, which focus on clean energy and climate change, clean air and water, ocean conservation, strategic litigation, zero waste, community resilience, and transportation and environmental justice. You will have the opportunity to research legal issues, draft documents ranging from internal strategy memos to public comments and motions, and meet with state and federal agency officials and other environmental organizations and communities in New England.
CLF offers both full-time and part-time internships in fall, winter, and spring terms. Part-time internships require a commitment of at least two full days per week for 9 weeks, while full-time internships require at least 35 hours per week for 9 weeks. Externships are also available for those seeking academic credit or fulfilling an academic requirement, but they do not provide a stipend.
