Job Description
Must have sound knowledge of application development tools, frameworks and methodologies;
Competency in C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript VB programming languages;
Sencha framework for JavaScript development;
Familiar with the Microsoft software development stack;
Familiar with MS SQL and relational database systems;
Familiar with source code revision control systems;
Familiar with Water Management applications;
Familiar with Web Services (IIS);
Familiar with OSIsoft PI Data Historian and data manipulation;
Familiarity with the syntax and semantics of the Unified Modeling Language (UML);
Understanding of the basic function of devices used in the control of the power system such as relays, meters, fault recorders, breakers, transformers, etc.;
Strong understanding of Cyber Security utility industry best practices and standards.
Fundamental understanding of the architecture of OSI Monarch System;
Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts;
Familiarity with Computer Aided Software Engineering Tools (CASE)
Qualifications Required
A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 7 years progressive Operational Technology (OT) experience including responsibility for computer server operating systems, database systems, network administration, application configuration, problem analysis, configuration of network protocols, and hardware troubleshooting.
Demonstrated knowledge of the unique security requirements for protection of Critical Infrastructure including familiarity with the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standard, ISA-SP99 Security for Industrial Automation and Control Systems, NIST 800-82 Guide to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Industrial Control System Security, and DHS Cyber Security Procurement Language for Control systems.
Must have excellent communication skills, solid analytical and organizational skills, and proven ability to meet deadlines and goals, strong commitment to customer service, ability to learn new technologies quickly, ability to work independently or within a team environment.
