Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Senior eLearning Specialist focuses on driving business and talent strategies through designing, developing and delivering relevant and engaging learning and development solutions. This role is focused on identifying and delivering L&D digital experience including elearning, content and collateral for all Designer Brands business segments.
REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager, Designer Brands Learning & Development
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Supports GRAPHIC DESIGN needs for the Learning & Development team including logos, icons and learning and development assets. *Collaborates with global Learning & Development team and segment subject matter experts to design, develop and DELIVER RELEVANT, INTERACTIVE ELEARNING CONTENT to support learning & development programs and initiatives across all Designer Brand segments. *Ensures COHESIVE VISUAL LEARNING and development experience for all segments with established design guidelines and standards that is brand relevant and engaging. Cohesive visual experience includes learning program materials and the learning management system. *Optimize the USE OF TECHNOLOGY, researching, developing, delivering digital learning delivery methods. Educate the global Learning & Development team for use of new technologies in segment learning programs. *Develops and maintains ELEARNING INVENTORY with content maintenance standards appropriate to the type of content and business segment taking into account new project implementation and segment growth. *Builds GLOBAL DIGITAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES accounting for multilingual and diversity needs while conforming to Section 508 and WCAG accessibility guidelines. *Prepares, trains, directs work EFFORTS OF VENDORS as necessary. *Serves as Learning Management System ADMINISTRATOR; provide support of the day-to-day ongoing operation, issue resolution, maintenance, usage, analysis and administration
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
*Setting Goals *Working with Others *Managing for Results *Working knowledge of HTML, CSS coding language for LMS portal configuration *Strong project management, relationship building and communication skills *Excellent IT skills, especially with elearning authoring tools, design, video and photo-editing software *Exceptional creativity and innovation
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
*5 years experience in instructional design using the ADDIE and/or AGILE model *5 years experience in eLearning development and toolsets *Working knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) and SCORM standards experience *HTML and web authoring *Graphic design
EDUCATION:
*4-year college degree preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*1-3 years' retail experience preferred
