This full-time, remote position focuses on providing legal representation, assistance, and litigation services to unaccompanied and separated children who are forcibly displaced from their countries of origin. The Senior Project Director will manage all aspects of a large and complex federal services contract, serving as the relationship manager with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). The position requires a Juris Doctor degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in immigration, refugee, child welfare, or related fields. The salary range for this position is $125,632 - $157,041 per year.

Essential Functions: - Manage and coordinate all aspects of a large, complex federal services contract, ensuring legal services are planned and executed with quality, accountability, and measurable impact - Serve as the lead for liaising with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and other external stakeholders - Provide strategic vision, leadership, and technical direction to the contract team - Supervise senior staff and oversee collaboration across the team - Monitor project to anticipate potential risks and opportunities and ensure legal compliance - Manage the project schedule and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget - Serve as the primary contact between internal project team and the chief legal officer
Qualifications and Requirements: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in immigration, refugee, child welfare, or related fields - Minimum of 3 years of experience with programmatic and budgetary management and directly supervising a senior team - Minimum of 3 years of experience in postgraduate direct service delivery work with youth and trauma-informed care - Experience managing large complex federal contracts and/or significant state and local funded initiatives, strongly preferred - Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools - Direct knowledge and experience working with the Administration for Children & Families, or the Office of Refugee Resettlement, preferred - Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging - Experience working and communicating in a remote environment
