Job Description
Position will Act as the owner and controller for all Project Master data including WBS Structure in SAP and EcoSys and ensure consistency in structure to enable analysis and benchmarking.
Assignment Description:
Establish project WBS in SAP and EcoSys and ensure quality of data in cooperation with cooperation with Project Control Lead, cost engineering, planning and estimation, Finance.
Configure WBS Structure
Work with finance and accounting to ensure that WBS structure aligns with JOA structure and all accounting information is accurate
Own and further develop templates in SAP PS, such as WBS and Network templates
Work closely with Cost Engineering SME in implementing and operationalizing of EcoSys
Work closely with Benchmarking & Analysis to ensure that all dimensions required are captured in the WBS structure
Work in close cooperation with Cost Engieering SME to establish routines and reporting formats across projects in EcoSys and Power BI
Super user in EcoSys
Maintain and develop Project Reports and dashboards in Power BI
Assist and/or prepare cost performance management data for reporting.
Understand interrelationships between SAP PS, EcoSys and other functional modules
Responsible for maintaining and processing non-project specific information and processes in SAP
Design and implement business unit appropriate reports in EcoSys
Arrange EcoSys improvement meetings with Cost Engineers and other stakeholders
Participate in digital improvements related to cost
Perform cost control for improvement initiatives and function
Qualifications Required:
Education
University degree Economics, IT, Business or similar
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Relevant experience may compensate for formal education
Experience
Understanding of project control and cost engineering principles, methods and tools
Experience from complex development projects in an E&P company or other projects of similar complexity
Understanding of project structures and WBS
Experience with cost management in SAP and/or EcoSys
Genuine interest in the systems/technical aspects in SAP/databases/IT tools/Power BI/EcoSys
Hands-on experience using project control systems and procedures support by leading software applications
Driving continuous improvement, using Lean methodology
Desirable
Min 5 years relevant and similar capacity in project estimating and cost controlling, preferably in Offshore Construction/EPCIC industry
Experience in the development and application of cost and schedule risk analysis procedures and operations
Experience with cost and schedule benchmarking
Exposure/understanding of project planning
Personal characteristics
Self-starter with a strong delivery focus and excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Pro-Active attitude in promoting improvements and seeking clarifications
Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
