Senior Payments Compliance Counsel - Global Legal:
- Responsible for providing legal counsel on payments, virtual currency, money transmission, and other relevant laws for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** globally. - Oversees the launch of payments products and features in various geographies in North America. - Identifies and advises on risks related to payments regulatory regimes and provides practical solutions. - Collaborates with cross-functional teams and outside counsel to ensure legal risk mitigation strategies. - Requires a Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school, with membership in good standing in a US State Bar. - Must have extensive experience advising technology companies on payments and consumer protection matters. - Familiarity with FinCEN, AML, OFAC, and other state and federal regulations related to payments. - Prior experience working in a global tech environment and with user-generated content platforms is preferred. - Strong communication and documentation skills are required. - Passion for the creator economy and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. - Committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. - Offers competitive salary range of $228,000 - $357,390 annually, with potential for additional bonuses and benefits. - Provides reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities or other protected reasons. - Complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding employment, including the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
