- Responsible for supporting intellectual property attorneys and R&D teams - Evaluate idea submissions and manage invention disclosure process - Facilitate Patent Review Boards meetings and manage action items - Aid in portfolio management and review outside counsel's work - Conduct patent searches and competitor landscape analyses - Provide IP training and raise awareness across the business - Potentially assist in managing trademark or other intellectual property protection and prosecution - Potentially assist attorneys in evaluating patents and potential product infringement reviews
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field - 6 years of experience in a patent agent or IP liaison role - Strong patent prosecution experience with understanding of US and international patent law - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Action-oriented and able to take on new challenges with enthusiasm
Preferred Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice before the USPTO - 2 years of in-house experience - Degree in engineering or science - Medical device experience preferred - Experience with patent analytics and docket management tools
Salary Information:
Minimum: $99,100 Maximum: $188,300
