**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a California law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Family Law, Probate and/or Civil Paralegal.
## Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Family Law, Probate and/or Civil Paralegal - Analytical, innovative, and aptitude for detail - Ability to multi-task and complete time and mission-critical projects in a timely manner - Ability to work independently and be a team player - Knowledge of legal pleadings and knowledge of keeping legal files - At least three years of Family-Law paralegal experience - Good with computers, and learning new software applications - Word processing, typing, and computer skills - Ability to use Adobe, excel, outlook, word, and other programs - Good sense of humor - Enthusiastic, loyal, and conscientious - Professional demeanor - Good communication skills, both written and oral - Works well independently as well as with others - Able to accept supervision and follow directions
## Responsibilities
The Senior Paralegal Attorney will be responsible for:
- Preparing factual summaries/declarations and documents for evidentiary purposes - Efiling with state courts utilizing One Legal - Assisting attorneys in all phases in family law, civil litigation, and/or probate - Coordinating service of documents with outside vendors - All phases of discovery, including, but not limited to, reviewing and preparing client documents for production, drafting of discovery requests to be propounded on opposing party, drafting of discovery responses - Reviewing and editing documents upon request from the attorney - Managing assigned case files in Dropbox and case calendar in Practice Panther - Communicating with Opposing Counsel upon request from an attorney - Communicating to Clients regarding the status of the case and upcoming events such as discovery, hearings, etc. - Assisting attorneys with trial preparation - Conducting statutory, regulatory, and factual research - Drafting, editing, cite-checking, and otherwise assisting in the preparation of legal documents - Preparing California Judicial Council forms - Working with clients in responding to discovery requests
## Compensation
This is a full-time, remote position with a salary to be determined.
