Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of debt recovery matters - Provide ad hoc advice and guidance to clients and colleagues - Brief Counsel for complex matters - Review matters at the point of referral and provide specific and proportionate scopes - Handle various legal matters such as pre-action disputes, drafting legal documents, and negotiating settlements - Communicate scopes to clients and keep them informed of progress - Interact with third parties and take care of legal matters from start to finish - Utilize case management system effectively - Provide line management and limited supervisory responsibility - Report regularly to the Specialist Manager
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in handling debt recovery cases - Experience in managing more complex claims - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload - Strategic thinking and decisive decision-making abilities - Proficiency in ICT and excellent problem-solving skills - Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a team and across business units - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
