Job Description
Senior Paralegal (USAO-Civil) - Full Time, Syracuse, New York

- Salary Range: Minimum $24.55 per hour, based on SCA wage determination

- DOJ MBI clearance required

- Up to 10% travel within continental US

- Provide direct paralegal services to assist AUSAs in civil litigation cases

- Seek information and locate sources through contacts with law enforcement and other agencies

- Gather factual material and summarize case files

- Conduct financial analyses and investigations

- Organize and manage large quantities of records and documents

- Prepare attorneys for trials and depositions

- Review and analyze case materials, including healthcare billing and treatment records

- Draft court filings and legal memoranda

- Provide litigation support, including creating visual materials for trials

- Perform legal research using various tools and software

- Proficient in computer applications, such as word processing, databases, and spreadsheets

- Hands-on experience with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures

- Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience or project experience

- Paralegal certificate or JD preferred

- US Citizenship required for DOJ MBI clearance

- Culture of integrity and trust at CACI
