Responsibilities of the Senior Litigation Paralegal:
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members and clients - Understand and comply with company policies and procedures - Utilize technology and case management software efficiently - Maintain excellent customer service and interface with clients, providers, and team members - Prepare legal documents and correspondence for attorney approval - Assist attorneys with written and verbal communication with various parties involved in cases - Investigate and collect pertinent information to optimize case management - Collaborate with attorneys and team members to achieve optimal results for clients - Gather, process, and organize case-related documents in a timely manner - Train and mentor lesser experienced team members when appropriate
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5 years of prior litigation experience - Bachelor's degree preferred - Personal injury litigation experience preferred - Paralegal degree and/or certification preferred - Strong knowledge of litigation practices and procedures - Exceptional client advocacy skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in case management software and other relevant technology
