This is a Partner-level position with the opportunity for immediate growth and the ideal candidate will have a portable book of business with at least $200,000 in collections. With a focus on leadership and a commitment to maintaining a strong reputation, this role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle cases from start to finish.
Responsibilities for this role include participating in all aspects of the firm's professional activities, from client intake to trial preparation. The Senior Litigation Attorney will have the opportunity to handle cases from inception through trial with minimal supervision, and must have experience with drafting complex pleadings and motions, as well as conducting research and managing the discovery process. The ideal candidate will also have experience with mediation and arbitration, and be licensed to practice in Tennessee.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and J.D. Degree, as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Significant courtroom experience is required, as well as knowledge of state and federal court procedures. A high level of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion are also essential for success in this role.
