Responsibilities:
- Successful record of mediation experience - Significant and successful trial experience - Researching and analyzing complex legal issues - Writing legal documents such as memorandums, briefs, and letters - Marketing services to prospective clients - Performing discovery and due diligence - Strong communication and advocacy skills - Managing schedule for consults and production/collection objectives - Closing consults within firm's range - Timely approval of invoices - Ensuring support staff are fully utilized and productive - Updating client information and invoices as required - Sharing work tasks with other attorneys and support staff - Actively engaging in brand expansion through social media, organizations, etc. - Seeking positive reviews from satisfied clients
Requirements:
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills - Excellent legal research skills - Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school - Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state of practice - 5 years of experience as an attorney
