**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, the nation's largest public interest environmental law organization, is seeking a Senior Litigation Assistant to join their Clean Energy Program. This role will provide administrative and litigation support services to a team of lawyers working to transition from fossil fuels to clean energy, hold coal generators accountable for their pollution, and protect communities from toxic waste. The ideal candidate will be available to start as soon as possible and can be based in any of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***'s offices in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and litigation support to approximately 30 Clean Energy Program attorneys - Prepare and edit documents for filing - File and serve paper and electronic filings - Ensure all court rules are met - Create, organize, and maintain case files and contacts - Submit and track new matters and board approval requests - Compute and calendar court deadlines - Assist with discovery productions - Prepare for depositions and hearings - Assist with court admissions and registration renewals - Cite-check data figures and numbers - Track relevant dockets and issues related to Clean Energy Program work - Engage in conference calls and meetings - Operate office equipment - General administrative support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in a litigation setting - Interest in and knowledge of environmental or social justice issues (preferred) - Meticulous attention to detail and high performance standards - Excellent research, analytical, writing, and computer skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat - Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure - Ability to work with remote staff and maintain confidentiality - Ability to coordinate workflow and mentor peers - Flexible, punctual, reliable, and available for occasional evening and weekend work - Ability to work on the computer for extended periods when needed - Team player with a can-do attitude - Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to diversity and inclusion

- San Francisco, CA and New York, NY: $83,400 - $92,700 - Washington, DC, Los Angeles, CA, or Chicago: $79,300 - $88,100 - Philadelphia, PA: $75,200 - $83,500
