## Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Lawyer, you will be required to:
* Manage a caseload of personal injury files and ensure that they are progressed in a timely and profitable manner. * Provide the highest level of client care, gathering relevant information and evidence from the client and keeping them informed of the progress of their case. * Review medical reports, collate special damages, quantify heads of loss, liability, prospects of success and make offers of settlement. * Prepare briefs and bundles, arrange meetings with barristers and clients to discuss quantum, and issue relevant letters of advice to clients. * Attend hearings such as pre-trial conferences, conciliations, arbitrations and informal settlement conferences, and meet with barristers and clients before hearings. * Prepare for trial and attend trial when necessary.
## Skills & Expertise Required
The successful candidate must have:
* Previous experience working at a senior level and providing supervision of a caseload. * Excellent knowledge of personal injury law and experience in MVA and Worker Compensation claims. * Excellent litigation skills and tactical ability with experience in performing their own advocacy. * Experience working with a case management system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a caseload of personal injury files and ensuring that they are progressed in a timely and profitable manner, while providing the highest level of client care.
### Responsibilities
The Senior Lawyer will be responsible for:
* Supervising a caseload of personal injury files to ensure progression and achieve the compensation deserved to the injured client. * Providing the highest level of client care, obtaining further information or evidence from the client and discussing the progress of their case. * Reviewing medical reports, collating special damages, quantifying heads of loss, liability, prospects of success and making offers of settlement. * Reviewing the brief and bundle, arranging a meeting with the barrister when applicable and the client to discuss quantum, and issuing relevant letters of advice to the clients. * Supervising and attending hearings such as pre trial conferences, conciliations, arbitrations and informal settlement conferences, and where necessary meeting with barrister and client before hearings. * Supervising the preparation for trial and attendance at trial.
