Senior Docket Clerk Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Maintain the docket and calendar for various state and federal court cases - Process conventional and electronic filings in various state and federal courts - Ensure accurate staff calendar entries - Utilize software systems to onboard new client-matters - Prepare and issue calendar software reports - Provide timely and accurate responses to requests and questions - Demonstrate effective communication skills - Stay current on firm policies and industry trends - Manage resources responsibly - Comply with firm operations and procedures - Perform other tasks as needed
Qualifications: - Knowledge of conventional and electronic filings in various state and federal courts - Familiarity with federal and state judicial rules - Experience with calendar software - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks - Comfortable working with sensitive material and maintaining confidentiality - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Independent judgment and decision-making skills - Proficiency in relevant computer software programs - Flexibility to adjust hours as needed
Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree - Minimum of five years of related experience
