The base hourly rate for this position is $19.00-$20.00, with potential for uncapped bonuses based on performance.
As a Senior Debt Collector, your responsibilities will include:
• Contacting borrowers to discuss delinquencies and determine repayment options • Recording accurate and detailed notes in our computer system • Meeting or exceeding performance goals and deadlines • Complying with company policies and procedures, as well as FDCPA and state consumer protection laws • Other duties as assigned
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
• 5 years of debt collection experience, preferably in 3rd party collections • Knowledge of FDCPA and state consumer protection laws • Above average administrative and phone skills • Strong negotiation skills • Excellent communication skills • Strong organization and results-driven mindset • Effective decision-making abilities • Strong listening, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Basic computer skills
Physical qualifications for this position include the ability to lift at least five pounds, sit for most of the work day, bend and move as needed, read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence, communicate effectively in a common language, occasional travel, and operate a computer or equivalent device. This is a full-time position with a flexible 40-hour workweek schedule.
